How FTA Global Grew Turito’s Organic Clicks by 69%

From existing content to stronger organic visibility
7,836 → 13,230 organic clicks
2.38M → 4.54M impressions
Background
Turito is an online education platform providing learning resources, tutoring, and academic support to students across multiple subjects and grade levels.
A significant part of its organic discovery comes from educational Blog and Learn content covering topics across Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, AP exams, and general learning.
Rather than relying only on publishing new content, FTA Global evaluated how existing pages could contribute more organic visibility through a focused content refresh programme.
The supplied performance report tracks 20 existing URLs, split evenly between 10 Blog pages and 10 Learn pages, comparing December 1-29 performance with January 1-29.
The Challenge
Turito already had a large library of educational content with established search visibility.
The opportunity was to get more performance from content that was already indexed and attracting demand.
Several pages ranked in the middle or lower part of page one, while others could capture substantially more impressions and clicks if their search performance improved.
The objective of the refresh was therefore not simply to create more URLs.
It was to increase the organic contribution of existing content.
The Strategy
FTA Global focused the programme on existing Blog and Learn pages with measurable search demand and tracked their performance across three core indicators:
- Organic clicks to understand whether refreshed pages were attracting more search traffic.
- Search impressions to measure whether Google was surfacing those pages across a broader set of searches.
- Average position to understand whether visibility was improving within search results.
Performance was then compared across equivalent 29-day periods to understand the impact of the refresh.
The Execution
FTA Global monitored 20 existing Turito content pages across the Blog and Learn sections.
The portfolio covered a wide range of educational search intent, including:
- Mathematics and numerical concepts
- Physics and Chemistry topics
- English language and poetry resources
- Biology
- AP exam information
- General learning questions
Performance was evaluated between December 1-29 and January 1-29, allowing the team to measure how the refreshed content performed across clicks, impressions, CTR, and search position.
The Outcome
The content refresh produced growth across almost the entire tracked portfolio.
Organic clicks increased from 7,836 to 13,230, a 68.8% increase.
Search impressions increased from 2,383,980 to 4,544,377, up 90.6%.
All 20 URLs improved their average search position.
Several individual pages delivered particularly strong gains.
Performance improved across the content portfolio
The growth was not limited to one or two pages. Several refreshed URLs saw significant gains in both traffic and visibility.
For example, What Comes After Trillion grew from 1,874 to 4,315 clicks, while Greater Than or Equal To increased from 518 to 1,215 clicks. AP Exam Scoring grew from 15 to 198 clicks, alongside an improvement in average position from 9.38 to 5.88. Electrical Components also increased from 264 to 675 clicks, with its average position improving from 12.41 to 8.88.
Together, these gains show that the refresh programme improved performance across different subjects and content types, rather than relying on a single high-performing page.
What do we learn?
Content growth does not always require publishing more pages.
Existing pages may already have search history, topical relevance, and authority. The opportunity is often to identify which of those assets can work harder.
For Turito, the refresh programme increased clicks by nearly 69% and impressions by more than 90% across the tracked content set.
The larger lesson is simple.
Don't treat content as finished once it is published.
Refreshing existing high-potential pages can become an important part of sustained organic growth.
