FTA Global has unveiled its latest industry report, B2B Indian Tech Industry: Search & Demand Trends 2025, offering an in-depth look at how Indian enterprises are increasingly discovering and evaluating technology solutions through digital search behaviour. The data shows search-based discovery is fast becoming the primary method through which enterprise decision-makers in the AI, SaaS, Cloud Computing, Fintech, Cybersecurity and Industry 4.0 categories will find and evaluate potential technology solutions.
FTA Global also found that searches for enterprise technology solutions are rapidly increasing. There was a 35% increase in B2B Search Queries that mention AI, which has been driven primarily by the artificial intelligence and machine learning areas and makes up the majority of overall search demand for enterprise technology solutions.
Furthermore, there was almost a 28% increase in the number of B2B Searches related to the Internet of Things (IoT) and the automation of industrial processes, as well as a consistent 20% increase in the demand for B2B logistics, ERP, and inventory-based SAS tools. These findings indicate that Indian business buyers are becoming increasingly research-intensive and highly motivated to conduct research prior to interacting with technology vendors.
Another key finding is that there is a significant change in the regional demand curve for technology. While the metropolitan areas still account for the largest share of searches for B2B technology solutions, Tier 2 markets have been growing at nearly double the rate of the larger metropolitan markets.
