Marketing is entering a new phase where technology, consumer behaviour, and AI-driven discovery are reshaping how brands engage with audiences. In an industry feature, Senthil Kumar Hariram, Founder and Managing Director, FTA Global, shared his perspective on the trends that will define marketing in 2026.

He highlighted that AI and LLM-powered platforms are fundamentally changing the discovery process, making relevance and contextual visibility more important than traditional metrics such as impressions and reach. Senthil also emphasised the growing importance of integrated marketing. Functions such as content, SEO, performance marketing, data, and communications can no longer operate independently. Instead, organisations must build connected ecosystems that deliver consistent experiences across channels.

Another trend he pointed to is the increasing importance of first-party data and privacy-led strategies. As regulations evolve, brands that build trust through transparency and meaningful engagement will have a stronger competitive advantage.

According to him, success in 2026 will depend on a brand’s ability to combine technology, strategy, and customer understanding to create sustainable visibility and long-term growth.
