Marketing is transitioning from fragmented execution processes to more structured and outcome-based systems. During a recent podcast on Entrepreneur Live Interviews, Senthil Kumar Hariram, Founder and Managing Director of FTA Global, discussed how traditional agency models are unable to keep pace with the increasing complexity of modern marketing.
Senthil stated that the current environment requires many different types of channels, data streams, technologies and consumer touchpoints to work together to produce a seamless experience for the consumer. Often, because of the disconnection between various functions in the way that they execute their marketing, marketers are creating inefficiencies and diluted results. In order for brands to be successful today, they need a connected system of strategy, execution and measurement.
According to Senthil, part of this evolution is due to the emergence of search engineering technologies. Discoverability today is less about the separate execution of optimisation tactics, as it relates to how well brand information is organised, structured, and able to be comprehended by AI systems.
Additionally, as brands continue to be impacted by AI and LLM tools in influencing consumer behaviour, it is essential that these brands maintain a cohesive, relevant and aligned digital presence to the user’s intent across all touchpoints.
Overall, this conversation confirms a direction for the entire marketing industry to follow. Achieving success in marketing will continue to come from creating connected systems, with clarity, contextual relevance and measurable impact, for generating sustainable long-term growth.
